Zion National Park ranks 3rd in U.S. for number of visitors

Zion National Park ranks as the third busiest in the U.S. after another record-breaking year for visitation in 2017. The Southern Utah park drew 4.5 million, according to National Park Service figures released Wednesday. Only Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee, with 11.3 million visitors, and the Grand Canyon National Park, at 6.3 million, drew more.
