Kroger subsidiary will no longer sell guns to people under the age of 21

Kroger will no longer sell guns and ammunition to customers under the age of 21. The nation’s largest grocery chain sells guns at 46 Fred Meyer stores in western states, CNN reported Thursday. Those stores will continue to sell weapons, but the age restriction will go into effect immediately. "In response to the tragic events in Parkland and elsewhere, we've taken a hard look at our policies and procedures for firearm sales," Kroger said in a statement to CNN. "Recent events demonstrate the need for additional action on the part of responsible gun retailers." Kroger added it no longer sells “assault-style rifles” in its stores in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. It will no longer take special orders
